The roughness can be slightly changed by means of a straightening with diamond grinding-wheel with different grains. An increasing roughness of the pivoting grinding-wheel implies an increasing roughness of the pivot after the pivoting, as well as a shorter correction time. The sharpening of the grinding-wheel must be done on the runner, so that the grinding-wheel will continue to turn perfectly round.
